From The Andes down to los Yungas!

The pre-columbian trail of Takesi is an original precolumbian rout that starts in Ventilla and ends int the subtropical valleys of the Yungas. The stone pavement of its trails and steps remain in a good condition until today, attracting thousands of trekking lovers.

It is one of the best preserved road in Bolivia that reveals part of the history of ancient times, the stone work and  the stunning diverse attractions such as the small village of Takesi, beautiful landscapes, crossing important ecological zones with coca plantations, vegetables,  fruits and of course air pure and fresh!.

You will know the pre-Hispanic path that endures despite time. Viewpoints, lagoons, rivers and different types of ecological zones, with coca, vegetable, and fruit plantations. Living in nature contemplating animals in their natural habitat.

day 1.

We leave La Paz at 7:00 am in private transportation, we arrive at the Uni pass where we see two imposing mountains, the majestic Illimani and the Mururata, we continue towards the San Francisco mine for 2 hours. approximately. We begin the hike to the summit 4570 m. Afterwards we descend to the village of Takesi in 4 hrs., we take a break and continue 3 hrs. until we reach the village of Kacapi (2800 m), a tropical climate, rivers with wonderful views where we will have dinner and spend the night.

DÍA 2.

After breakfast we begin our walk to  Chojlla mine for approximately 3 hours until the village of  Yanacachi  , we have the lunch, later we take the transportation to La Paz.
