Considered one of the most popular treks in Condoriri, this valley offers stunning views of the plateau, glaciers, mountains and lagoons throughout the circuit, and you will also be able to see the flora and fauna of the place. In addition, you can go up to an incredible viewpoint which is the Austria Peak at 5350 masl. It is highly recommended as an acclimatization trek before attempting the ascent to some 6000.

On the second day it only takes a little endurance to reach the summit of Austria Peak.
Departure from La Paz at 08:00 am, we head 2 hours by transport until we reach Rinconada (4400 m), we begin the one-hour walk until we reach Chiarkhota Lagoon (4600 m) (Condoriri Base Camp), we set up the tents to rest and we spent a very quiet night to acclimatize.
After breakfast, we begin the walk towards the summit of Pico Austria (5350 m) where we can appreciate the Cordillera Real of Bolivia in its maximum expression, the high plateau, Lake Titicaca. The ascent lasts approximately 3 hours from the Chiarkhota Lagoon and we return in 2 hours, we rest and collect our things to return to the the Rinconada where our transport awaits to take us back to La Paz city.
