The choro trek is an old Inca road with many paved sections that in times of the Inca empire were used to transport products between the Yungas jungle and the city of La Paz. It is a 53 km route with a drop of 3600m that is completed in 3 days, which allows you to enjoy a wide variety of landscapes. This walk is on of the most popular in Bolivia.

We leave La Paz at 7:00 am in private transport, towards La Cumbre. We walk up to 4900 m. then we descend towards Samañapampa, pass through the village of Chucura, and descend to Challapampa at 3400 m. where we camp the first night. 7 hours. of walk.
After breakfast we start our walk in a more tropical climate, two hours we arrive at Choro 2200 m. Later we arrived in San Francisco, the second campsite at 2040 m. 8 hours.
This day we head towards Sandillani, where we begin to descend towards the village of Chairo 1300 m. 4 hours .Finally we take the transport to La Paz.
